InfinyOn is an early-stage startup backed by Tier 1 venture funds. InfinyOn was founded under the belief that every organization needs to transform into a real-time enterprise to be competitive. Today, InfinyOn is building a new generation of real-time data stack to enable organizations to build real-time applications and services rapidly.
Role
We are looking for an extraordinary Rust engineer passionate about building reliable and scalable infrastructure for real-time data streaming. Your contributions will help us fulfill our mission to enable organizations to accelerate the adoption of intelligent data services without maintaining the infrastructure.
In this role, you will be working in every part of the infrastructure stack all the way from writing storage and network components, extending the control plane to building a UI dashboard.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Cloud native microservices
- Design and implement solutions to provision and scale infrastructure
- Improve performance by designing and implementing low-latency and high-availability network services
- Implement user facing features across Web UI and HTTP API
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Collaborate with team members working across the platform and contribute to product roadmap milestones
- Develop and maintain Fluvio and related open source projects
Requirements
- Proficient in Rust programming language
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in Networking and Linux.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Exposure to deploying and maintaining applications in production
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Experience with 1 or more Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of Rust async framework
- Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform
- Knowledge of distributed systems such as Kafka
- Knowledge of web technologies such as Svelte
Additional Requirements
We are a startup, and we work extended hours, which at times extend into the weekend. You must be comfortable to work in startup environment.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis. They may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
